Hang Gliding Competitions, sponsored by the Coastal Condors  - Steeple Chase Format - Both Days 11am to 3pm (weather and wind permitting) Sign up at the beach.  

Hang Gliding, Tandem Hang Gliding Demos, and Rides  

8-10 am Marina Volunteer Firefighters Assn. Pancake Breakfast
9:00 am Opening Ceremonies and entertainment from local cultural and school groups, to be determined 
10:00 am Marina Youth Sports Sign-ups in Scout House

Sign up at Marina State Beach, beginning at 11:30 am.  Warm ups and sign ups begin at 11:30am. Competition begins at noon.

Giant Inflatable Air Park: Giant Tiger, Iron Man, Tiki, and Hot Air Balloon Bounce House

◊ Children's Educational Activities: Kite Making Workshops, Kite Competition, Hands-on Wind-related Crafts, including Wind Chimes with Marina Youth Arts, and Wind-related Science projects with the National Weather Service. 

◊ A.J. Robinson Free Medical Screening: On Cardoza Avenue, above the Park

◊ Professional Kite Demonstrations featuring Dan Whitney, Brian Champie and David Sabilino. Both Saturday and Sunday! 

Mission Soaring Center - Free hang gliding simulator and "mini" lessons at the Park
